The event of the summer.

This project brings my vision to life: Xandra X Sprinter at Surf Lodge on the first day of summer, celebrating Sprinter’s newest drink collection: *make it a double.

I started brainstorming this idea knowing I wanted to make a poster a Xandra (@xandrapohl) DJ event. I knew I wanted it to take place this summer, and where better to have it than The Surf Lodge (@thesurflodge) in Montauk. Xandra has performed there before and spends her summers in the Hamptons so this was a perfect fit. I landed on June 24 since it’s the first day of summer, aka the summer solstice.

I loved this idea so far but felt like the event was missing something, it needed a sponsor. Kylie Jenner’s new vodka soda, Sprinter (@sprinter) had just been announced a few days before I created these designs so this was the obvious choice due the relevancy and expected popularity of the drink. However, I chose to create something new: Sprinter* *make it a double. This can contains double the alcohol percentage of the original Sprinter.

The color palette radiates summer and the disco ball screams party, the perfect mix for a summer night at The Surf Lodge with Xandra & Sprinter.
